Views from the Nest – Middle School 9/6/16

Sts. Peter & Paul Middle School is truly a unique and special place. It is about preparing your “tween” for high school and supporting their growth spiritually, academically, and socially.

Spiritually, Middle School students attend daily religion classes, weekly mass, and monthly Adoration. Within this area exploration of adolescent issues are covered in the Theology of the Body curriculum.

Academically, a challenging curriculum is led by experienced teachers who partner with you and your child to achieve academic success supported by the High Marks Program, which is open to all. A rich variety of Enrichment classes and opportunities offer experiences in the Arts, Technology, and Athletics as well.

Socially, a House System for grades 6-8 to promote community and spirit. Elementary School “buddies” help teach responsibility and caring, while other programs such as KYA teach understanding of local and world-wide political issues. Extended field trips (i.e. Carter Caves, Space Camp, and Washington D.C.) support the curriculum and create lasting student bonds.
