Sts. Peter & Paul School is an urban center of educational excellence that dates back to 1913. We celebrate all that has been accomplished in the school’s history, but continue to invest in the future.
To meet the evolving academic and facility needs of students and faculty while retaining a strong and much-needed presence in downtown Lexington, Sts. Peter & Paul School created a vision in 2005 to address the needs for the future. In August, 2010 the school completed a $12 million renovation at the Main Campus (423 W. Short St.) and the Early Childhood Campus (133 Barr St.) and opened the 2010/11 school year in its new facilities.
Income for Sts. Peter & Paul School comes from a variety of sources: tuition, programs/fees, partner parish support, grants, fundraising and donations. The SPPS Annual Giving Fund supports the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating a student at Sts. Peter & Paul. A portion of this is managed with annual fundraisers such as Kroger Gift Cards, Mardi Gras, UK Raffle, and Fall Festival. The remainder comes from donations.
Donations to the Sts. Peter & Paul School Annual Giving Fund directly supports Sts. Peter & Paul School and continues the tradition of Catholic school excellence that has been a part of downtown Lexington for almost 100 years. “We had over 550 donors contribute to the Saints Alive campaigns. The generosity of many individuals, families and businesses helped build the school we have today.” says Jeanne Miller, President. “If we can get half that number to participate on an annual basis with our Annual Giving Fund, we will continue to achieve excellence at Sts. Peter & Paul School.”
Please consider a donation to the Annual Giving Fund. All donations are tax deductible and will benefit students now and for generations to come.
