Sts. Peter & Paul School (SPPS) has a long history of educating children in the Bluegrass region. Since 1913, SPPS has provided a quality Catholic school education that is second to none. In 2006, SPPS was named a Blue Ribbon School, placing it in the top 10% of the nation based on test scores.  This top honor was achieved because of SPPS’ long-term commitment to retaining the highest quality of teachers in addition to smaller class sizes (the average ratio is K-8th 15:1, PK4 6:1).

Located in the heart of downtown Lexington, SPPS provides an array of opportunities for students to participate in community events and be exposed to the arts. The Lexington Children’s Theater, Opera House, Living Arts & Science Center, Lexington Public Library, Gratz Park, and much more are located within walking distance. The proximity to these organizations perfectly complements the expanded arts program offered at SPPS, including band, choral, and visual arts.

SPPS draws students from six partner parishes in and outside of Lexington. The partner parishes include St. Peter’s, St. Paul’s, St. Peter Claver, Holy Spirit Parish, Pax Christi, and St. Luke’s. The diversity of the student population is something of which SPPS is extremely proud.

See why SPPS has been the education choice for families since 1913.  Come be a part of one of the region’s top Catholic schools.
