We consider each applicant to Sts. Peter & Paul School as a whole person, and put enormous care into evaluating every application.

Each applicant to Sts. Peter & Paul School (SPPS) is considered with great care. We encourage you to schedule a tour of the school to meet the teachers and our students.  SPPS has a long history as a center of Catholic education in downtown Lexington since 1913.

The Application Timeline

August - January

Families are encouraged to complete and submit the application for their children as soon as possible. You will be notified when we we receive your application. Enrollment opens at the end of February. Siblings of current student and/or members of our Partner Parishes receive priority for enrollment. You will be contacted in late February to let you know if you application has been approved. If approved you will receive an email inviting you to enroll at SPPS.

February

Open enrollment begins on February 23. Applicants will be contacted for enrollment in the following order:

  1. Sibling of current student;
  2. Member of one of our Partner Parishes (St. Peter Church, St Paul Church, St. Peter Claver Church, Holy Spirit Church, Pax Christie, St. Luke Church. Parishioners of Annunciation Church in Parish are classified as In-Parish for middle school only);
  3. Date application was received

Checking your application

We have an online application process. The application will take 10-15 minutes to complete. Once the application is submitted you will receive a confirmation email. The Admissions Department will stay in touch with you until Open Enrollment begins on February 23.

Application Review

The Admissions Committee reviews applications roughly in order of completion. Each application is considered in its entirety.

Decisions

We will make every effort to deliver a decision on your application as soon as possible. An applicant who is offered admission will be notified immediately.
