Job Title: School Office Manager

Overview:

Sts. Peter & Paul Regional Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and organized School Office Manager to provide comprehensive administrative support to our school. This role requires a strong commitment to our Catholic values, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for supporting students and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Faith and Community:
    • Serve as a Christian role model for students and staff.
  • Office Management:
    • Provide courteous and efficient administrative support to students, staff, and visitors.
    • Answer phones, manage correspondence, and greet visitors.
    • Maintain organized and efficient filing systems.
    • Order and manage inventory of textbooks, office supplies, teacher requests, and work room supplies.
  • Scheduling and Events:
    • Maintain the school calendar.
    • Manage facility booking requests.
    • Coordinate substitute teachers.
  • Student Support:
    • Assist students who are sick or require medical attention, including managing medications for students with allergies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including cumulative files, health records, and emergency contact information.
    • Update and maintain daily attendance information.
    • Forward withdrawn students’ records.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with state reporting requirements (immunizations, rosters, etc.).
    • Coordinate and document monthly safety drills.
    • Complete required safety training and surveys (including CMGconnect training and the bi-annual School Safety Survey for Catholic Mutual).
  • Other:
    • Generate forms as needed.
    • Assist and participate in extracurricular activities.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Job runs on the school calendar 

Qualifications:

  • Required
    • Bachelors Degree 
    • Must complete New Employee Orientation (NEO).
    • Knowledge of Google Chrome and Google Office Suite.
    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in teams.
    • Must complete CMGconnect training and pass criminal records/background check.
